Project: A Youth Club

THE COUNCIL HAS ORGANIZED A CONTEST TO CREATE A YOUTH CLUB. THE COUNCIL WILL SUPPORT THE BEST PROJECT.

• In groups of 4, create the project. Include the following:

-Background situation in the town.

-Objectives.

-Detailed information:

-Location. (Why there)

- Who is going to run it. (and number)

-Who can join in.

-Activities (indoor/outdoor; weekdays/weekends)

-Timetable.

-Security.

-Fees.

-How to get money to run the Club: Sponsors, activities to raise money...

-Other.

-The project must consist of:

              -The written project.

-A PPT including the most important information.

-Photographs.

-An application form.

-A timetable for the activities.

-A leaflet advertising the club.   Link to create the leaflet.....
               -A poster advertising the club.

All members of the group will have to defend the project in class.      (No reading, please)

Writing a biography: My grandmother

Write a biography about your grandmother/(grandfather):

1. Ask your grandmother for some information and some photographs when she was young or recent ones.

2. Write her biography and scan the photographs (use your printer). Remember Ann Frank's biography. Don't forget dates, "who" which", etc. Talk about her childhood, youth, family, etc.

3. Create a Powerpoint (PPT) with all this information. (5-6 slides).


4. Be ready to talk to your class about your grandmother/grandfather!

Dont forget to keep your blog up to date. Remember:

• The entries so far are:

- Favorite band.
- (Favorite film is optional)
- A superstar' s house.
- Guy Fawkes.
- Brave Rescue.
- Anne Frank. (2 AB1)

• Include photographs, video, animated gifs in every entry.
• Dont forget all the gadgets: photo, labels, archive, favorite links (include some of your friends, other teachers, ...), and pageview (visits).
• Come and talk to me if you are having problems. The blog is obligatory! Dont wait until it is too late!
