A memorable day

Imagine you are in London living with an English family and they take you to celebrate Bonfire Night. Write a letter to your family talking about this memorable day.
-Introduce the letter.
-Explain what you did on Bonfire Night:
 Explain the origin of this festival, talk about all the preparations, what you did, saw, ate.... something that you will never forget (any anecdote) and how you felt that day.
-Finish the letter.

Remember to use:
-vocabulary of Guy Fawkes.
-Grammar and vocabulary revised so far.
-Expressions learnt so far.

Make your writing sound real and interesting for a good mark!!!

they say the harder the culture, they say the harder the girl
i say the smarter the girl, then the stronger our world
from a country where we made fortunes
of others misfortunes and betray our own people
then we mourn for a portion of time
always taught to fight for my rights
Malala fought for education then she fought for her life
it’s hard to strive to be better
when oppressed by the suppressors
treated like the lesser, just be clever
ignore the ignorance from the ignorant
society is ridiculous but it’s the world that we living in
chauffeurs our drive and denies our desire
being silent doesn’t help, it adds fuel to the fire
how can somebody young like me even find any truth
when nobody’s looking for truth in the youth
life isn’t a choice, so who are we to say what’s void
and Malala gave a voice to me cuz…

hard work and talent equals infinite growth
in school a child and a teacher equals infinite hope

Recuerda que en AFIRMATIVA los verbos pueden ser REGULARES o IRREGULARES. Cuando son REGULARES, se añade –ed al verbo. ¿Recuerdas cómo?

La terminación –ed se puede pronunciar de diferentes maneras:

/d/ si el último sonido es sonoro. Los más importantes son: /i/ /n/ /l/ /r/

3. PAST SIMPLE: AFFIRMATIVE (IRREGULAR VERBS)

Cuando el verbo es IRREGULAR en AFIRMATIVA, el pasado varía respecto al infinitivo. Estos verbos han de aprenderse de memoria. (p. ______ del libro). Recuerda que solo cambia en afirmativa.

4. PAST SIMPLE: NEGATIVE

Recuerda que la negativa es más fácil que la afirmativa. Se forma de la siguiente manera:

DIDN’T + INFINITIVE

Ejemplo: I went to school last Monday. (Affirmative)

    I didn’t go to school last Sunday.  (Negative)

5. PAST SIMPLE: INTERROGATIVE AND SHORT ANSWER.

DID + SUJETO + INFINITIVO…? YES, ______DID. // NO, _____DIDN’T

• Si preguntamos “Dónde”, “Cuándo, “Qué”,etc, se pone la partícula interrogativa delante de DID

                     Ejemplo: Where did you go yesterday?
