HALLOWEEN
Would you like to celebrate Halloween and win a lot of prizes?. Read the following and learn how to participate.

These activities are for 1º and 2º ESO.
1. FIND THE MONSTER HIDDEN IN YOUR SCHOOL.
Which teacher is which monster?
1. Get in pairs.
2. Get a questionnaire from the "Reception Desk" in your school.
2. THE SCARIEST CLASSROOM.
a. Form different groups. Each group will bring:
-Some decoration for the class.
-The scariest Halloween cake.
-Something "bloody" to drink.
The scariest classroom will be chosen by a jury during the break. The winners will be published on Monday!

These activities are for 1º and 2º ESO.

4. Place your completed worksheet in the box at Reception.

2. PAST SIMPLE: AFFIRMATIVE (REGULAR VERBS)

Recuerda que en AFIRMATIVA los verbos pueden ser REGULARES o IRREGULARES. Cuando son REGULARES, se añade –ed al verbo. ¿Recuerdas cómo?

La terminación –ed se puede pronunciar de diferentes maneras:
/t/ si el último sonido es sordo. Los más importantes son: /p/ /k/ /sh/ /ch/

/d/ si el último sonido es sonoro. Los más importantes son: /i/ /n/ /l/ /r/

3. PAST SIMPLE: AFFIRMATIVE (IRREGULAR VERBS)
Cuando el verbo es IRREGULAR en AFIRMATIVA, el pasado varía respecto al infinitivo. Estos verbos han de aprenderse de memoria. (p. ______ del libro). Recuerda que solo cambia en afirmativa.
Practica con los siguientes ejercicios:
a. Une el infinitivo y su pasado
c. ¿Eres el más veloz de la clase? ¿Te sabes los verbos irregulares mejor que nadie? Demuéstralo en estos ejercicios.

4. PAST SIMPLE: NEGATIVE
Recuerda que la negativa es más fácil que la afirmativa. Se forma de la siguiente manera:
DIDN’T + INFINITIVE
Ejemplo: I went to school last Monday. (Affirmative)
I didn’t go to school last Sunday. (Negative)

5. PAST SIMPLE: INTERROGATIVE AND SHORT ANSWER.
DID + SUJETO + INFINITIVO…? YES, ______DID. // NO, _____DIDN’T
- Si preguntamos “Dónde”, “Cuándo, “Qué”,etc, se pone la partícula interrogativa delante de DID
Ejemplo: Where did you go yesterday?
