How to improve your listening and pronuncation skills
It is also good to listen to songs and sing along. Get your favorite songs from YouTube, these must include the lyrics! Sing along until your pronunciation is perfect!!! Click here to see some examples.
- You can start with these easy repeating exercises. Repeat them until you can do it fluently.
- Daily conversations: Listen to these conversations. Pause the dialogue and repeat the sentences.
- Dictations: Some dictation can also help. Write and then check if you got the answers right.
- More exercises on dictations: OM dictations
- Listening comprehension: There are lost of listening comprehension exrecises on this site. Choose a level, choose a topic, answer and then correct your answers.
- Listening and Reading at the same time will help you improve your listening skills. Here you are some activities that will help you. Read and listen to the stories a few times, paying attention to the pronunciation.

Project: A Youth Club
THE
COUNCIL HAS ORGANIZED A CONTEST TO CREATE A YOUTH CLUB. THE COUNCIL
WILL SUPPORT THE BEST PROJECT.
- In groups of 4, create the project. Include the following:

Writing a biography: My grandmother
Write a biography about your grandmother/(grandfather):
1. Ask your grandmother for some information and some photographs when she was young or recent ones.
2. Write her biography and scan the photographs (use your printer). Remember Ann Frank's biography. Don't forget dates, "who" which", etc. Talk about her childhood, youth, family, etc.
3. Create a Powerpoint (PPT) with all this information. (5-6 slides).
4. Be ready to talk to your class about your grandmother/grandfather!
